Josh Stanton: Wow, what a weekend! Two wins, two fastest laps, and P2 in the Am Championship!

“It’s been an amazing season, with so much learning and development from our first day in the car up to now. I can’t thank everyone at Team HARD. enough! Adam Wilcox has been faultless all year and has given us the knowledge and drive to get to where we are.

“Thank you also to Evolution, Grayson Pace, and Puffin Solutions for the continuous support in getting us here; to my family for the enormous support. I’m hugely grateful to everyone.

“Huge well done to Nathan, too! An unlucky last round didn’t reflect his season and I know he deserved so much more. Nathan has been an enormous force in progressing the team to where we are now. I can’t wait to see what 2022 holds!”

Nathan Harrison: “It’s scary to think the season is over, it’s gone so fast!

“Friday practice was the first time seeing Brands GP in the Porsche, and what a mega track! You really feel the speed straight out of the box. We were happy with the car and set-up from the team.

“Moving onto Saturday qualifying, we were P14 on our first set of tyres when we came into the pits for a new set and quick debrief. We then went back out and put in a monster lap to qualify in P7 overall and P1 in the pro-am class. I was over the moon with that.

“Race one on Sunday gave us a very good battle for 1st place, however halfway through the car in front of me spun, which lost me some time. We finished P2 in pro-am, however, a mechanical fault disqualified us. I was really disappointed, as we were sitting P2 in the championship and I thought we had it wrapped up.

“Come race two, we started off the back of the pro-am class, however, I stalled the car which caused two cars to hit us from behind. What started as a good weekend changed very quickly – I’m gutted to end the year like this.

“Nonetheless, it was a massive learning year for us all, and I would like to say a massive thank you to Team HARD. and all of my sponsors; Alloygator, Warburtons, BIMC, Steeles Law, Oxon Storage, and Botley Windscreens for their continued support. We now have a hard winter ahead to get back out on the grid.”
