Team HARD. Principle Tony Gilham met with Cole Trucksport owner/driver Simon Cole on a few occasions and have found a common ground with their passion for motorsport, their love of winning and both coming from the garden of England, Kent.
The collaboration will start straight away, the new build 1000 bhp Cole Trucksport Mercedes will carry a little of the Team HARD.s famous pink and green livery for the 2018 season which kicks off at Brands Hatch on the weekend of the 31st of March 2018.
Tony said on the partnership “I love all levels of motorsport and want to see the Team HARD. brand competing at every level and with the right partners. I have been speaking with Simon for a while and we struck a deal over the partnership earlier this week. There are a lot of exciting things that will come from this and I recommend everyone keeps their eyes out for future announcements”.
Integral to the deal was Team Manager of Cole Trucksport, Brad Candlish who said “We are very privileged here at Cole Trucksport to be working in this new partnership with Team HARD. I’ve admired the team for a very long time I think they are an absolute credit to Motorsport. It’s an exciting time to be developing fresh ideas together and we’re very much looking forward to delivering something completely new to the motorsport world. We look forward to a revealing 2018 and an inspiring future”.
Keeping with the Team HARD. ethos of being at the interesting end of racing, Simon finished 3rd in division 2 in 2017 and with the help of Team HARD. is very confident that the title is a possibility for 2018. Simon echoed what Tony had said earlier “It’s been an amazing year for Cole Trucksport and myself Simon Cole but 2018 is going to be epic working in partnership with the guys at Team HARD. It’s a chance of a lifetime and I cannot wait for 2018 and the years to come”.
