SYNETIQ joins the Kwik Fit British Touring Car Championship with Laser Tools Racing Infiniti pairing of Aiden Moffat and Dexter Patterson.

Laser Tools Racing is delighted to welcome onboard the UK’s leading integrated salvage and vehicle recycling company, SYNETIQ, as a major partner for the 2022 Kwik Fit British Touring Car Championship (BTCC) season. The nationwide firm will be promoted by the Scottish, Laser Tools Racing pair of Aiden Moffat and Dexter Patterson throughout the season.

Innovation is a key pillar of SYNETIQ’s operations – and a key reason the two businesses have  teamed up. In particular the fact that the BTCC is becoming the first major touring car championship in the world to announce a transition to hybrid power is a big draw.

Sustainability is at the heart of everything SYNETIQ does. Their Road to Tomorrow plan sets out their sustainability goals across the whole business, outlining their priority areas of focus, their key commitments and their progress. The introduction of the hybrid system for the 2022 BTCC season helps the championship align with their goals on improving the planet through a commitment to sustainable practices.

BTCC race winner Aiden Moffat commented, “I’d like to thank SYNETIQ for coming onboard for this season and joining us for this new and exciting journey the BTCC is embarking on.

“Dexter and I recently visited SYNETIQ headquarters in Doncaster, spread over 31 acres it was huge and proved a great insight into the lengths they take to help be as sustainable as possible. The people were also really welcoming and friendly, I can already tell they are going to be a great asset to our team this season.”
