Lee Keeler, from Biddenden, who will be entering his second full season in the BTRDA Rallycross Championship in 2019 has joined the Team HARD. Racing programme.

Lee started out in the series in 2017 competing in selected rounds with his Citroen Saxo VRS before completing a full campaign last season finishing a fine 5th in class. Lee is putting himself in the best shape possible to stake a claim on the 2019 title with shakedown and multiple tests already completed prior to the season.

Lee believes that Joining the Team HARD programme can only lead to greater things as he looks to push up the rallycross ladder in seasons to come. “With only a couple of weeks until round 1 of the BTRDA Rallycross Championship, LKRX are delighted to have agreed a partnership with Team Hard. Racing as they are a massive brand within the racing community.

The team is growing rapidly and to be the only Rallycross Driver with their backing is both an honour and exciting, I can’t wait to get working alongside them this year!

A big thank you to Tony Gilham and team for jumping on board with us for our journey up the rallycross ladder.”

Managing Director, Tony Gilham is delighted to be helping more enthusiastic racers progress through the ranks. “I find it very rewarding to help talent make a name for themselves in racing. When I was a racer with very limited budget, I would have loved to have been welcomed by an established team help me progress.

When Lee approached me, I knew this would be an exciting opportunity. The hustle and bustle of rallycross is great, and it is one of the most exciting forms of motorsport currently out there. I’m looking forward to working with Lee and seeing how he gets on this season!”
