Team HARD. Racing is delighted to announce the signing of talented racing driver Jade Edwards for the 2023 British Touring Car Championship (BTCC) season. Jade will be joining the team from One Motorsport and is set to continue making her mark on the highly competitive touring car championship.

Jade is a rising star in British motorsport, having made her debut in the BTCC in 2020 before spending the last two seasons with BTC Racing. In 2022, she secured a top 15 finish at Brands Hatch and took a Jack Sears trophy win at Oulton Park, the first of her career. Jade is thrilled to be joining Team HARD. Racing for the upcoming season and is eager to build on her previous successes.

Jade is at Brands Hatch spending her first day back with the team.

“I’m really excited to be joining Team HARD. Racing for the 2023 BTCC season,” said Jade. “I have been following the team’s progress for a while and I am impressed with their professionalism and commitment to success. I am confident that I will be able to build on my experience from last year and work well with the team to achieve some great results on track.”

Jade previously raced for Team HARD. in the 2019 Clio Cup series and was a mainstay in the BTCC’s support championship during its final years on the TOCA package, making her one of the most well-known and influential people in the paddock.

“We are thrilled to have Jade re-joining us for the 2023 BTCC season,” said Tony Gilham, Managing Director of Team HARD. Racing. “She is an exceptional driver with a lot of potential, and we believe she will be a great asset to our team. Both Jade and the team have come on a long way since we previously worked together and we are ready to provide her with the best platform to have her best season in the BTCC to date.

“As a favourite with the crowd, we know that our fans and partners alike will be thrilled with this signing and we look forward to working with Jade again and achieving some fantastic results on track.”

The 2023 BTCC season is set to be one of the most exciting in recent years, and Jade is well positioned to mount a challenge on the Jack Sears Trophy; won last season by new teammate, Bobby Thompson. With the championship’s annual media day scheduled for Wednesday 12th April, it won’t be long before fans can see Jade back out on track.
