Team HARD. Racing’s GT Cup GTA class entry partners Callum Jenkins with scholarship winner Ollie Brown.

Jenkins, having contested multiple rounds of the 2019 season with the team, helped bring home the GTA class championship, thanks to a series of impressive results over the year. Callum enjoyed success during his debut at Snetterton with silverware in every race, including a win, and fought and beat competitors from higher classes at Silverstone.

Callum’s return comes thanks to a new partnership with Cirrus Research – the official noise measurement partner of Motorsport UK – who will be working closely with Callum and the team to investigate the noise experienced by drivers, team personnel, and spectators throughout a race weekend. Cirrus Research will achieve this through the use of various specialised equipment such as noise dosimeters, handheld sound level meters, and outdoor environmental noise monitors. Cirrus Research plc http://www.cirrusresearch.co.uk/ are just the latest to join Team HARD. Racing’s fast-growing business hub.

Callum was buoyed by the success of last season and is confident to hit the ground running in 2020. “2019 was a surreal season, making a huge jump to GT racing in the Ginetta. My first time in the car was at my debut weekend at Snetterton but, this time around, with more experience and a testing programme, I intend to make an impression with a haul of wins and carry on good form throughout the season.”

Team HARD. Racing’s Managing Director, Tony Gilham, gives his thoughts on the season ahead with this exciting new driver pairing.

“We are really excited for this entry into the GT Cup. Callum Jenkins has been part of the team for a while now since his appearance in our 2017 scholarship and will be a benchmark teammate for our latest winner Ollie Brown.”

The GT Cup season commences at Donington Park on 18th/19th April after media day on Thursday 27th February.
