RCIB Insurance joins Team HARD as title sponsor of the teams British GT campaign
RCIB Insurance has worked with Team HARD. for a number of years and today announces it will be the title sponsor for the team's two Ginetta G55s that will be racing in the British GT Championship in 2016.
Racing under the name RCIB Insurance Racing the two cars piloted by Jordan Stilp/William Phillips and Rob Barrable/Wilson Thompson are set to make their debut on track at Brands Hatch on 16 April.
The team has worked with RCIB Insurance since it first sponsored team boss Tony Gilham during his days racing in the British Touring Car Championship in 2011. Since then the company has been a key partner and coming on board as a title sponsor for the British GT means the team can go faster and further than ever before.
Mike Joseph, MD of RCIB Insurance, said: “RCIB Insurance is proud to be title sponsors for the Team HARD British GT team, it is great to be involved with the Team HARD guys in a number of different series and with some exciting up and coming drivers in the increasingly popular British GT, we are hopeful for a successful year.”
RCIB Insurance is also sponsoring the final of the VW Scholarship where the six talented finalists will shoot it out at Brands Hatch to win the £100k prize of a fully-funded drive in the VW Cup in 2016.
Joseph continued: “RCIB Insurance is pleased to be the official sponsors of the VW Scholarship final, it’s fantastic to be supporting the new drivers and giving them a chance to launch a professional driving career. RCIB Insurance Racing now has involvement at many levels of British motorsport and we are looking forward to an exciting 2016 and maybe helping to find the next BTCC or F1 champion.”
