VaulkHARD joins PPCGB Racing

Team HARD. Racing and very proud to announce the signing of ex BTCC, ETCC and WTCC racer Harry Vaulkhard to join them in their 2014 assault on the VW Cup Championship.

Gary Allen said “Harry is a proven driver with a fantastic record over the years and we are honoured to have him as part of our amazing line up for the coming season. To secure Harry in one of our seats shows a clear intention of what we are aiming to achieve in 2014 and our belief in the whole approach and evolution of the VW Cup Championship. There are very few championships that can compare to the VW Cup in terms of driver ability, presentation, grid sizes and organisation.”

“I've known Tony personally and have enjoyed watching the successful and ambitious development of Team Hard over recent years. The team have worked hard and effectively at securing sponsors and making the deal come together so it works for all parties concerned. I think this year Team Hard will be very strong and I hope my experience in similar machinery will allow us to quickly develop the car to be a race winning package”

“I'm under no illusions as to how tough this Championship is, very few Championships in the UK are 'easy to win', but I have to be aiming to win it, or I may as well take up knitting. I only enjoy racing when I'm in with a chance of winning and this would be a very nice way to win my 3rd British title. So that is absolutely the aim.”
