TeamHARD VW Cup Scholarship

Team HARD. have joined forces with Goodman Media and iZone Driver Performance to add even more value to their Team HARD VW Cup Scholarship.  In addition to winning a fully-funded works drive in the 2016 Volkswagen Racing Cup, the winner of the Team HARD 2015 Scholarship will also benefit from a driver support package from two of the motorsport industry’s leading trainers.

Goodman Media will provide a two-hour media training session to improve the winner’s understanding of the media and increase their confidence on camera.  Run by ITV Motorsport presenter Louise Goodman, Goodman Media has trained some of the best drivers in the business – from young karters to Formula One stars. 
The lucky winner will also be given the best possible start to their 2016 season on track when they receive a half day of assessment and coaching at iZone's State of the Art driver training facility at Silverstone.

The session will identify the driver's strengths and weaknesses, with an added focus on creating a structured Driver Development Plan that will help turn strengths into super-strengths and weaknesses into opportunities.  iZone’s proven coaching methods have been developing by Triple World Touring Car Champion, Andy Priaulx and have gone on to benefit many championship.

Tony Gilham of Team HARD, said: “We promised to make this year’s VW Scholarship bigger and better so it’s great to be able to offer this extra prize to our scholarship winner.  Knowing how to present yourself to the press and the public is really important for any up and coming driver.  The skills that they will learn at iZone will help them to make the most of every opportunity out on track as well.  It’s a real bonus to have Goodman Media and iZone Driver Performance on board as part of our 2015 VW Scholarship prize.  

This “Scholarship” is open to anyone over the age of 16 with or without a race licence (no upper age limit), to try and find the next racing champion
